Job summary

Gellert Global Group seeks a Shift Supervisor for its Wisconsin facility to support production managers across multiple lines. You will enter production data, maintain QA documentation, and ensure operational accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include leading the production team, coordinating equipment setup, conducting safety briefings, and ensuring compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and OSHA standards. This role requires strong leadership and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with sustained focus, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and lead by example.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to convey instructions clearly.
• Proficient in general computer applications and ERP systems.
• Forklift operation certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and teams to meet throughput goals and schedules.
• Coordinate equipment setup and ensure readiness before start-up.
• Lead pre-shift and post-shift meetings on safety, goals, and performance.
• Communicate daily objectives and staffing plans to teams and management.
• Enter production data accurately for reporting, payroll, and financial tracking.
• Supervise staffing, discipline, and attendance to maintain efficiency.
• Collaborate with QA to maintain GMPs, SOPs, and sanitation standards.
• Enforce OSHA safety requirements and maintain a safe workplace.
• Monitor safety, identify hazards, and report incidents per OSHA guidelines.
• Identify and report nonconformances in materials or products.
• Coordinate with maintenance for work orders and minor repairs.
• Coordinate with Shipping/Receiving to ensure material availability.
• Review timecards for payroll accuracy.
• Escalate issues to Production Manager as needed.
• Operate forklifts/walk-behind jacks as certified.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
