Job summary

Gellert Global Group in Wisconsin seeks a Sanitation Supervisor for a 2nd shift (3pm-11pm, Monday-Friday). You will report to the Production Manager and coordinate sanitation cleanups, ensuring compliant practices with GMP, HACCP and allergen programs.

You will supervise 3-5 sanitation staff, develop SOPs, and prepare inspections and audits. The role requires 3-5 years of sanitation leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in managing sanitation personnel and procedures.
• Strong communications skills with proven leadership and management skills.
• Ability to work quickly, accurately and concentrate over a long period of time, accountable, responsible and goal-oriented.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in various situations.
• Attention to details to ensure quality of work.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility and equipment for conformity complying with federal and state sanitation laws and plant standards.
• Direct cleaning of equipment and work areas.
• Confer with management and production personnel on sanitation problems to improve standards and purity of product.
• Compile required reports regarding regular inspections, sanitation violations and steps taken to resolve deficiencies.
• Manage and develop the SOP and specific training for sanitation staff (approximately 3-5 employees).
• Responsible for master sanitation schedule and compliance to GMP, HACCP and Allergen programs.
• Review and recommend sanitary design for equipment and procedures and make changes as needed.
• Review accuracy of required documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure safety of all personnel and participate in plant safety programs.
• Prepare and participate in customer and industry audits.
