Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Production Supervisor for the night shift at one of its dry ice facilities. You will guide Plant Operators in production, packaging, shipping prep, and loading/unloading products.

You’ll coordinate with the local branch to match resources with demand, and mentor staff to meet safety and quality standards. The role requires a HS diploma with 3+ years supervising 10+ workers in an industrial setting, strong leadership, and proficiency in MS Office for reports and budgeting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 3+ years supervising 10+ production workers.
• Strong decision-making to enforce policies and discipline staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; manage personnel files, time tracking, and inventory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, email) and basic budgeting/cost control.
• Ability to work safely in a noisy environment with CO2 and lift 5–50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Plant Operators for production, packaging and shipping prep.
• Guide start-up and shutdown of the dry ice plant; coordinate resources to meet demand.
• Communicate operational status to Plant and Branch Managers.
• Mentor and train production associates; conduct written evaluations and reviews.
• Identify safety hazards and quality deficiencies; may operate a forklift as needed.
