Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding to De Soto, Kansas, building the world’s largest lithium-ion battery factory. The Production Supervisor leads safe, efficient shift operations in a 24/7 high-volume environment to meet production targets and apply Lean and SQDCP metrics.

You will develop the team, ensure standardized work adherence, train staff on SOPs, and collaborate across functions to improve safety, quality, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline required; substitutions may be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin/Operations Mgmt/Industrial Engineering preferred; Six Sigma Green Belt or higher; OSHA 30-Hour preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive leadership in a high-volume 24/7 manufacturing environment; Lean/6S knowledge; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to meet production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Ensure development, maintenance, and adherence to Standardized Work Instructions (SWIs).
• Plan and assign schedules, tasks, and priorities for team members.
• Drive Lean manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
