Job summary

Armacell in Mebane, NC is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead hourly production staff on a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) on a 3-2-2 rotating schedule.

You will drive safety culture, coordinate with Line Leads, and manage overtime, attendance, and production metrics while ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal procedures.

This frontline leadership role requires organizing the crew, implementing corrective actions with WAM tools, training, and maintaining accurate production data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's preferred.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write and understand work instructions, WAM, SDS and customer specifications.
• Strong decision maker with ability to multitask and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Act as communication center for manufacturing and personnel reporting; 60% on the shop floor.
• Coordinate production personnel with line leads per shift.
• Deliver planned results and apply corrective actions when needed using WAM tools.
• Apply WAM tools and HC/SC methods; ensure BEWOs, QEWOs, and CILRs are completed.
• Schedule overtime and vacations to maintain proper crew sizes for production.
• Maintain attendance records and enforce discipline; use related software for timesheets.
• Conduct coaching sessions to improve performance and safety; ensure OSHA compliance.
• Complete weekly cycle counts and update labor and production data daily.
