Job summary

Oldcastle APG, part of CRH, is seeking a Production Lead for our Virginia operations. You will supervise a shift, set production goals, and ensure safety and quality across the line. This role requires hands-on training of team members and direct operation of forklifts and other machinery.

Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance programs, tracking inventory, and analyzing daily production reports while ensuring a safe, efficient work environment and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience providing on the job training to team members to include forklift, bobcat, loader operations and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endure climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling.
• Walking up and down elevated catwalks and stairs and standing for long periods.
• Ability to work in all environmental conditions and extreme temperatures.

Job Responsibilities

Set production goals and expectations

Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Set up and operate machinery

Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine

Operateforklift as directed and without supervision while adhering to all rules and regulations mandated by safety policies and procedures

Job Requirements

Previousteam lead experience in a manufacturing environment

Ability to lift up to 50poundsand endure intermittent climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling

Abilityto work in all environmental conditions and extreme temperatures

Compensation

• The hourly pay is $25-$30, based on experience
