Job summary

Techo-Bloc in Waterloo, IN is seeking a General Laborer to support daily production on the night shift. You will inspect finished products, perform quality checks, and assist with packaging and pallet handling to keep production moving and meet high quality standards.

The role requires basic math, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. We offer weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and development opportunities within a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Able to read basic instructions and communicate clearly.
• Reliable and on time for scheduled shifts.
• Comfortable working independently and with a team.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Strong attention to detail and good common sense.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished product for height, shape, color, and consistency.
• Perform quality checks and remove defective pieces as needed.
• Rework/replace blocks to ensure every pallet is customer-ready.
• Package finished product with packaging materials, top sheet, labels, and final quality check.
• Keep all products packaged neatly, safely, and securely.
• Assist with production support tasks: pallet repair, maintenance, yard support, and other tasks.
• Maintain a clean work area and support plant clean-up.
• Follow all safety practices including PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
