Job summary

Techo-Bloc Inc. in Waterloo, IN is seeking a General Laborer for night shifts to support daily production and uphold product quality. You’ll work with machine operators and assist with packaging, inspections, and on‑floor improvements to keep pallets customer‑ready.

Qualifications

• We require the ability to read basic instructions and communicate clearly.
• Be reliable and on time for scheduled shifts.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Maintain strong attention to detail and good common sense.
• Able to multitask and solve problems on the floor.
• Training provided to operate basic machinery and support equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished product for height, shape, color, and consistency.
• Perform quality checks and remove defective pieces as needed.
• Rework/replace blocks to ensure pallets are customer-ready.
• Package finished product with materials, top sheet, labels, and final check.
• Keep products packaged neatly, safely, and securely.
• Assist with pallet repair, maintenance, yard support, and other tasks.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety practices (PPE, Lockout/Tagout).
