Job summary

Lightera in Carrollton, GA seeks a Production Manager to oversee product output in cable manufacturing. You will support supervisors, ensure proper delegation, hiring, performance and discipline to maintain quality and on-time delivery.

You will lead continuous improvement, manage information flow between departments, and enforce policies while meeting customer requirements and controlling labor and material costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management or Engineering.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Applications.
• Good time management and setting priorities skills.
• Background in managing labor, materials and cost.

Responsibilities

• Managing the supervisor’s efforts on production, maintenance, quality, personnel, and raw materials, shipping and manufacturing processes.
• Managing the quality initiative, results, customer complaints, trouble shooting of the supervisors.
• Implementing continuous process improvement.
• Planning and planning flow of product.
• Managing information flow between departments and supervisors.
• Administration of company policies consistently.
• Meeting customer quality, delivery and special request requirements.
• Staffing and planning for current and future manpower needs.
