Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is hiring a Production Operator for the C Shift (Nights) at our York, PA facility. You will safely operate manufacturing equipment, understand production requirements, and collaborate with teammates to meet line responsibilities each night.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and up to six months in a high-speed manufacturing setting. Preference given to candidates with lean training, CPR/First Responder certification, and a related degree or certificate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 0–6 months experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Lean Manufacturing training and/or certification preferred.
• CPR and First Responder certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety culture and adhere to plant safety policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently to meet quality, schedule, and customer requirements.
• Assist with machine setup and/or changeovers.
• Assist with equipment preventative maintenance including cleaning and lubrication.
• Ensure quality standards are met (correct materials on correct lines).
• Assist with special projects and rework as needed.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing teams to reduce waste.
• Assist with training and certification programs as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
