Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Production Operator to work at a premier manufacturing client in North Charleston, SC. The role involves operating packaging and coating equipment, supporting the production process, and ensuring a safe, efficient operation.

You will work a night shift (6p-6a) with a rotating weekly schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as necessary. A High School Diploma is required, and forklift experience with the ability to lift 50 lbs is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Candidate should be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in manufacturing is preferred (at least 1 year).
• Forklift operation experience is required.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging and coating equipment (automatic baggers, palletizers, hand-add stations, coating lines).
• Support production from raw material handling to final packaging and warehousing.
• Load/unload trucks and perform cycle counts of materials.
• Maintain clean, organized packaging and production areas.
• Communicate effectively with other shifts, maintenance, and QA personnel.
• Troubleshoot equipment/process issues and pursue continuous improvement.
• Serve as a production leader to ensure smooth coating and blending processes.
