Job summary

Sun Chemical is seeking a Production Operator - C for the North Charleston, SC site. The role involves operating packaging equipment, performing routine maintenance, data entry and quality testing in line with SOPs. The candidate should be motivated, hands-on, and able to work on rotating 12-hour shifts.

The position requires teamwork, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior manufacturing experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or pass a pre-employment screening assessment.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Blend and pack out material and stage product for drying.
• Perform routine/incidental maintenance and inspections; complete required paperwork.
• Monitor product quality through visual inspection and sampling/testing as needed.
• Operate Power Industrial Trucks safely and follow all safety rules.
