Judge Direct Placement in the San Francisco, CA area is seeking a Production Manager to ensure efficient production aligned with company policies and procedures. The role focuses on understanding production priorities and providing support to supervisors to meet targets.

This third-shift position emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, lean practices, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain a productive and compliant operation across the plant floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-8+ years manufacturing experience.
• 2-3 years supervisory experience.
• Continuous improvement experience strongly preferred.
• Lean experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and enforce all safety policies and practices to employees
• Interpret data to continuously improve productivity
• Understand and communicate customer needs to employees to meet expectations
• Communicate with Supervisor and Operators to share knowledge from shift to shift
• Identify equipment, ingredients and packaging issues
• Coordinate with other departments to solve issues
• Maintain area in ordinance with all sanitation regulations
• Provide coaching and counseling, conflict resolution, training programs for employees
• Ensure areas are in compliance with 5S requirements
• Handle union grievances
• Support the Plant Manager during union contract negotiations
