Job summary

Judge Direct Placement in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Production Manager to ensure efficient production in line with company policies. You will oversee priorities and provide support to supervisors across shifts. This is a third shift role.

You will enforce safety policies, drive continuous improvement, mentor staff, manage 5S, and coordinate with other departments to address issues. You will support the Plant Manager during union contract negotiations and handle grievances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–8+ years manufacturing experience.
• 2–3 years supervisor experience.
• Continuous improvement experience strongly preferred.
• Lean experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and enforce all safety policies and practices to employees.
• Interpret data to continuously improve productivity.
• Understand and communicate customer needs to employees to meet expectations.
• Communicate with Supervisor and Operators to ensure knowledge transfer between shifts.
• Identify equipment, ingredients and packaging issues.
• Coordinate with other departments to help solve issues.
• Maintain area in accordance with sanitation regulations (5S).
• Provide coaching, counseling, conflict resolution and training for employees.
• Handle union grievances and support Plant Manager during union contract negotiations.

• Ensure areas are in compliance with 5S requirements
• Handle union grievances.
• Support the Plant Manager during union contract negotiations.
