Job Description

Pay: $24-$36/hr + $2/hr shift differential on top of base rate plus O/T

Shift: Monday-Thursday 5pm-5am

Location: Douglassville, PA

Position

Production Machine Operators will be responsible for the safe and efficient production of the paver and block equipment. This individual must be mechanically inclined and able to learn how to adjust, troubleshoot, repair, and operate machinery in the facility.

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Operate production equipment to meet production needs while maintaining the highest product standards.
2. Produce assigned products with verbal and written instructions.
3. Complete equipment set-up procedures and preventative maintenance.
4. Use tools and measuring devices to maintain, adjust and repair equipment.
5. Accurately prepare all necessary production and maintenance reports daily.
6. Dismantle and reassemble heavy plant components using hoists and hand tools.
7. Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
8. Complete minor repairs on equipment and refer issues to maintenance to avoid production delays.
9. Follow established guidelines on policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
10. Communicate any product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to relieving operators and shift managers as part of the shift change procedure.
11. Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
12. Must be able to operate a front-end loader and fill in when needed (will train).
13. Must be able to operate a forklift and fill in when needed (will train).
14. Must be able to execute general laborer duties and fill in when needed.
15. Conduct daily cleaning and inspection of mixers and all equipment to ensure proper operation and safety standards are met.
16. Wear personal protective equipment, and ensure behaviors are safe.
17. Follow company's proper lock out tag out procedures.
18. Conduct yourself in accordance with Techo-Bloc Vision, Mission, and Values.
19. Assist the Chief in daily operations and perform all other related duties as assigned.
