Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor in Franklin Furnace, Ohio to supervise and coach associates toward department and organizational goals. You will lead teams, monitor performance, provide resources, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring training compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience to supervise and coach teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

• Familiarity with ISO and Lean/Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach associates to maximize effectiveness, efficiency, and quality.
• Monitor performance and facilitate improvements.
• Provide direction, support, and resources to teams.
• Coach for improvements and recognize accomplishments.
• Supervise manufacturing activities, assign and review work, evaluate performance.
• Manage workload delegation and prioritization.
• Implement procedures and conduct team meetings.
• Train team on policies and internal controls.
• Drive process improvement and change initiatives as a business partner.
• Ensure compliance with mandatory training (Ethics, conflicts of interest).
• Define KPIs to monitor training effectiveness and best practices.
• Establish procedures for effective technical training delivery.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback.
• Foster environment encouraging employee involvement to reach productivity, quality, and EHS goals.
• Schedule and conduct meetings, ensuring clear communication of goals.
• Travel up to 10% to support operations.
