Madix Inc. is seeking a production supervisor in Alabama to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring on-time delivery, quality control and safety adherence. You will coordinate with supervisors, manage workflows and read blueprints to translate plans into action on the production floor.

The role emphasizes staff development, process improvement and accurate reporting, with a focus on meeting schedules while maintaining a productive, safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish priorities, set job expectations, plan, monitor and appraise results, coach and discipline employees as needed.
• Hire, train, develop and mentor staff to ensure maximum performance.
• Provide creative leadership to improve operating efficiencies while ensuring safety, quality and productivity.
• Manage workflow by monitoring process steps, variables, equipment, personnel and reporting systems.
• Read and analyze blueprints for production orders and assess production requirements from records and schedules.
• Complete and report administration duties including time/attendance, holidays, production reports and safety concerns.
• Review and distribute production, work, cycle counts and shipment schedules, and coordinate with department supervisors on progress and completion dates.
