Celgard, LLC in Concord, NC is seeking a Production Supervisor to join the Leadership team. The role oversees Manufacturing Technicians, reports to the Production Manager, and runs a 12-hour shift from 6pm to 6am on a 2-2-3 schedule.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, plus strong math and Excel skills. The site emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Supervisory experience with direct reports is required.
• Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Must possess strong math skills and have a solid mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 operations and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Ability to work a 12-hour 6pm-6am shift, 2-2-3 schedule is required.

Responsabilités

• Manage all operational aspects of the Conversion area (Deply, Slitting, Testing, Pack-Out, Backwinding).
• Lead behavior-based safety initiatives for the shift and ensure safe practices.
• Plan, organize, supervise, and schedule manpower, equipment and resources per policies and budgets.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding new team members.
• Assure effective operation of the production process by monitoring KPIs and costs.
• Manage employee performance and development.
• Provide leadership in troubleshooting and solving yield and utilization issues.
• Maintain shift measures, conduct variance analysis, and enforce SOPs/SOCs.
• Foster equitable working relationships and effective communication across the team.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts and cross-functional meetings.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure safety, housekeeping, quality, and plant goals.
