Job summary

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how manufacturing equipment operates.
Experience using basic hand tools and performing basic equipment adjustments.
Ability to troubleshoot production and equipment-related issues.
Strong communication, coaching, and employee development skills.
Ability to work extended hours when necessary to support operational needs.

Responsibilities

Lead production operations while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement goals are met.
Oversee daily production activities to ensure schedule attainment and customer commitments are met.
Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and waste metrics; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workflow to maximize operational effectiveness.
Serve as the primary production floor leader and technical resource for operators; troubleshoot equipment issues.
Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with the maintenance team.
