Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Production Shift Leader to support the production workforce and ensure safe, efficient manufacture of OES products that meet quality and customer specifications.

The role requires prior production/manufacturing experience and at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity. Candidates should be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a plant environment with noise and dust, using MS Office for reporting and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required
• Experience in production/manufacturing
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Basic to advanced MS Office skills for reporting across platforms
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly
• Work in a plant production environment with noise, dust, and hot equipment
• Respirators and face shields worn when necessary; grooming requirements

Responsibilities

• Leads shift huddles to share daily production information and safety topics
• Acts as backup to Shift Supervisor and coordinates with management to gather operational priorities
• Schedules and communicates machine assignments based on production schedule and labor constraints
• Monitors machine functionality, production volume, and adherence to safety procedures
• Maintains accurate attendance and performance records for employees
• Provides safety training and ensures ramp-up of new employees into production roles
• Gives updates on production and personnel to supervisor and manager
