Job summary

Wis-Pak, Inc. in Quincy, IL is seeking a hands-on Lead Person to guide the Production team on a night shift. You will work with employees, supervisors, maintenance and other departments to keep operations safe, efficient and on schedule.

You will lead line performance, troubleshoot equipment, participate in tailgate safety meetings, and mentor staff to uphold GMP, quality, and food safety standards. This is a full‑time role on a 9:30pm–6:30am schedule.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety, quality, food safety, housekeeping, and GMP compliance.
• Lead and support team members on assigned production lines.
• Monitor production processes to ensure schedules and goals are met.
• Assist employees with machine operation, troubleshooting, and break coverage when needed.
• Verify raw material inventory levels to support production schedules.
• Conduct weekly tailgate meetings and communicate important information to the team.
• Partner with other departments to ensure efficient operations and strong communication.
• Oversee line cleanup activities and ensure production areas remain organized and safe.
• Communicate operational, safety, or mechanical concerns to Supervisors and Maintenance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating all equipment on the assigned production line.
• Help keep production running smoothly and efficiently throughout each shift.
• Assist with rework and other duties as needed to support the team.
