Job summary

Mars Petcare in Aurora, NE seeks a Production Lead to supervise a night shift of approximately 15 production associates and drive safety, quality, and cost improvements across the line. This role leads the team to meet operational targets within a larger Value Stream with the Mars Supply Excellence (MSE) program.

You will coach operators, manage training strategies, and collaborate with the Area Leadership Team to deliver reliable, safe, and efficient production while upholding Mars safety,

Qualifications

• An undergraduate (Bachelor’s) degree or equivalent experience.
• More than four years in a technical manufacturing environment with continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Experience leading or supervising teams.

Responsibilities

• Convert materials into quality products safely and efficiently on shift.
• Lead and develop operators, coach for safety, quality and food safety.
• Support Mars Supply Excellence (MSE) program implementation.
• Coordinate line operations, materials, staffing and changeovers.
• Ensure standards are implemented and communicate effectively.
• Recruiting and onboarding of associates.
