Mars Petcare is seeking a QA - Lab Tech for the Aurora, Nebraska plant. The role supports quality testing of inbound raw materials and finished products, ensuring product quality aligns with specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities include lab testing, data entry, inventory management, and collaboration with production to resolve quality issues. Shift: Days; emphasis on safety and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or laboratory environment preferred.
• Ability to perform QA activities and lab tests.

Responsabilités

• Perform QA activities as detailed in the Quality Systems manual.
• Perform all lab tests and finished product testing.
• Communicate QA results to production and take corrective actions when needed.
• Collect ingredients and finished product samples as required.
• Assist in special tests or inspections requested by QA/Plant management.
• Enter data into NIR and Infinity QS databases and maintain data accuracy.
• Maintain lab inventory and calibration for testing equipment.
• Cover receiving functions and composite lab activities as needed.
• Ensure adherence to site food safety and security practices.
