Job summary

Mars, Topeka, KS is seeking a Production Leader for the night shift. This frontline operations manager leads a team of about 15 associates, focuses on safety, quality, and cost, and delivers area targets within the Mars Value Stream.

You will plan short‑term activities, drive continuous improvement under Mars Supply Excellence, coach operators, coordinate line changes, enforce HACCP and GMP standards, and partner with the Area Manager to sustain high associate engagement.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) degree required.
• Or equivalent: more than four years of experience in a technical manufacturing continuous improvement environment with a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Lead line/area teams on one shift to safely convert materials into quality products.
• Implement changes in methods, equipment, systems, and organization to meet objectives with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Lead Mars Supply Excellence pillars and participate in AM/AWT implementations and reliability data collection.
