Job summary

Clarios is hiring a Manufacturing Production Supervisor (1st Shift) for our Florence, Kentucky plant to lead hourly production staff, uphold safety, quality, and productivity targets, and support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will drive daily production activities, coach team members, and address on-the-floor challenges while collaborating with maintenance and quality to ensure reliable operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or similar.
• Ability to lead frontline employees and drive accountability in a fast-paced operation.
• Willingness to work night shift, overtime, and other shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly production employees to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives while maintaining strong employee engagement.
• Ensure adequate staffing, labor utilization, and work assignments to meet daily production schedules and customer requirements.
• Drive a culture of safety by enforcing health, environmental, safety, and housekeeping standards while proactively identifying and addressing risks.
• Monitor manufacturing metrics such as production output, scrap, labor efficiency, downtime, and attendance, taking corrective action when necessary.
• Investigate production issues, material variances, and process inefficiencies, implementing improvements to reduce waste and improve performance.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and operations teams to ensure equipment reliability and support continuous improvement initiatives.
