Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Mason, OH is seeking a Production Lead to oversee the Processing Department in a fast-paced, safety- and quality-driven environment. You will manage processing equipment operations and guide the team to meet quality, safety, productivity and cost targets.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior production food manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. The shift is 10pm–6am on the 3rd shift, with occasional overtime and a benefits package

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• History of safe work practices.
• Prior experience in a production food manufacturing environment is required.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects and implement to Quality standards.
• Achieve qualified score on job skills assessment- to be coordinated after receiving a passing interview score

Responsibilities

• Follows all food safety requirements in collaboration with Quality Assurance, Sanitation, and other plant resources.
• Leads and/or assists others in conducting investigations to determine the cause of defects.
• Monitors and is responsible for quality output and takes appropriate actions to ensure production is right the first time.
• Validates and ensures formulations are accurate and in conformance with process flow.
• Other duties as assigned
