Job summary

ASML in Wilton, CT is seeking a First Line Support Production Engineer to join the Production Engineering team. The role involves in-cleanroom support for production processes, troubleshooting electro-mechanical modules, test equipment, and data analysis using MATLAB, Python, and Linux.

The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, develop diagnostic guidelines, and contribute to manufacturing procedures while maintaining quality and meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechatronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• MS in Mechatronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (advantage)
• Solid understanding of complicated manufacturing assemblies
• Experience with servo and mechatronic control systems
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux/Python/Matlab
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing
• Reading mechanical/electrical/optical drawings
• Experience with integrated Hardware/Software testers

Responsibilities

• Spends ~75% in the Cleanroom supporting production processes and troubleshooting
• Troubleshoot electro‑mechanical modules and subassemblies
• Troubleshoot module test and final qualification issues
• Troubleshoot multi-discipline test equipment (Hardware/Software/Electrical/Servo)
• Master test rig qualification software: Linux/Python + ASML GUI
• Analyze Matlab runs and plot data from database
• Support data interrogation for manufacturing needs
• Develop OCAPs, Fishbones and troubleshooting guidelines
• Support PFMEA and manufacturing procedure development
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical and optical drawings
