Job summary

ASML US, LLC in Wilton, CT is seeking a First Line Support Production Engineer for the Back End Nights shift. You will troubleshoot and resolve production disturbances, develop containment strategies, and work with Optics and technicians to maintain output in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 1+ year in production or manufacturing engineering, with strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in an engineering discipline with 1+ year of production or Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• 0-1 year of work experience in high-tech production/manufacturing.
• Experience in optical fabrication/assembly is a plus.
• Cleanroom experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and optical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and document interruptions on the production floor with technicians.
• Develop and implement short-term containments and structural solutions for production issues.
• Escalate structural process/procedural issues to the Competency Production Engineering team and serve as consultant for solution space.
• Use cleaning solvents safely per EHS guidelines to troubleshoot and remove product contamination.
• Evaluate, disposition, and manage failed parts and determine path of rework.
• Generate detailed reports after machine failures; support quality improvements.
