Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company in Ohio is seeking a Production Associate - Filler to operate and monitor automated filling equipment, ensuring accurate fill volumes and product quality.

This 3rd shift role runs 11 PM to 7 AM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime. You will lift and move cases, perform safety inspections, and collaborate with teammates to keep lines productive and maintain high standards of housekeeping and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to read, understand, and follow English instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work 3rd shift and overtime as needed.
• Able to stand for long periods and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, troubleshoot, and interact with filling equipment as required.
• Perform quality inspections and checks (e.g., verify fill volumes, labeling, coding checks).
• Communicate issues in the department or with equipment to management or maintenance personnel.
• Lift cases or pails of product onto filling line conveyors.
• Drive powered industrial truck (PIT) to supply or remove materials or finished products.
• Keep work areas clean and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Maintain and/or assist with production line efficiency improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
