Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Production Associate - Filler/Strainer in Huron, OH for the 2nd shift (3 PM–11 PM), Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $20.16 hourly plus a $2.00 shift differential, and full-time benefits are offered.

You will operate filling equipment, perform quality checks, and assist with production line efficiency in a paint and coating manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Able to read, understand, and follow instructions and operating procedures in English.
• Able to wear all required PPE and safety gear.
• Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practices.
• Set up, monitor, troubleshoot, and interact with filling equipment as required.
• Perform quality inspections and checks (e.g., verify fill volumes, labeling, coding checks).
• Communicate issues in the department or with equipment to management or maintenance personnel.
• Lift cases or pails of product onto filling line conveyors.
• Drive powered industrial truck (PIT) to supply or remove materials or finished products.
• Keep work areas clean and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Maintain and/or assist with production line efficiency improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
