Job summary

fairlife, LLC in Goodyear, AZ is hiring a Processing Technician to test ingredients and products, accurately measure ingredients, and batch/process with proper documentation. You will start up, handle flavor changes, sanitation, and basic preventative maintenance on blending and processing equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass drug and background checks, and experience on high-speed production lines.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Pass the drug test and pass the background check.
• A High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
• Basic computational skills required. Simple math and reasoning required.
• Team-oriented and self-directed
• Experience with high speed production lines (fast-paced production environment)

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and workplace rules
• Ability to work in a safe, efficient manner on equipment and follow all safety procedures including the use of safety equipment to produce a quality product that meets all quality specifications.
• Troubleshoot problems, perform minor repairs using the correct tools, and perform preventive maintenance tasks on the Processing equipment and report malfunctions to a supervisor to expedite repairs
• Demonstrate monitoring skills, using visual observation of gages and listening to mechanical sounds to make sure the equipment is working properly
• While using FIFO supply or remove ingredients and waste in and out of the processing areas using hand carts and forklifts
• Continuously monitor all regulatory records and all other required documentation, quality checks, process checks
• Clean the processing equipment and surrounding areas to maintain an audit ready condition during production
• Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy
• Keep daily records of finished goods and rejected materials
• Aid in the training of new personnel
• Perform other duties as assigned
