Job summary

Dover Corp in Conover, NC is seeking a Process Technician to support LPG valve product manufacturing on-site. The role covers machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and daily process support to keep production safe, efficient, and within quality standards.

You'll work Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am with overtime as needed, collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams, and train teammates on equipment operation and standard work.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environment.
Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
Experience using measurement tools (calipers, gauges).
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Perform machine setup, changeovers, adjustments, and startup activities for assigned equipment.
Operate equipment to meet production requirements.
Monitor performance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues.
Ensure tooling, materials, and components are production-ready.
Identify equipment wear, damage, or abnormal conditions and elevate concerns.
Prioritize production activities with Team Leads based on demand and schedules.
Back up Team Leads in their absence.
Read blueprints and quality standards; inspect products and processes.
Identify nonconforming materials and document containment.
