Job summary

Dover Corporation, at its Whitsett, North Carolina facility, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an on-site role. Work schedule is 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to repair requests, and support turnover and equipment upgrades to meet production needs. The ideal candidate has at least five years in manufacturing maintenance, reads blueprints, and can work independently while collaborating

Qualifications

• Five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledgeable in skilled trades and manufacturing practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform and respond to maintenance requests; complete projects as directed by supervision.
• Analyze mechanical and operational problems and take corrective action.
• Carry out preventive maintenance at proper intervals on machines and equipment.
• Assist with line changeovers and PMs to meet customer demands.
• Test equipment for proper operation and safety; verify functionality after repairs.
• Document findings and root-cause analysis on daily reports.
