Herr Foods Inc. is seeking a 3rd Shift Process Operator for our Nottingham, PA facility. This full-time, onsite role involves operating snack processing equipment, performing changeovers, and recording production data in the ERP system.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate fryer, mixers, and snack processing equipment.
• Experience with ERP systems for production data entry and tracking is a plus.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and monitor equipment during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate potato chip fryers, dough mixers, and snack processing equipment.
• Handle changeovers and setup of mixing, cooking, and processing equipment.
• Clean machine parts after changeovers, discard trash, and monitor tank levels; clean seasoning trays, floors and ovens.
• Record daily machine and process data (batch counts, start/stop times, oil meter readings, waste, flour pounds).
• Maintain Urschel slicer heads to ensure quality and consistent slices.
• Enter production data into ERP; track production orders, materials, and finished goods.
• Update ERP records to reflect real-time data (production status, material usage, maintenance).
• Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate material replenishment.
