Job summary

Sedron Technologies in Fair Oaks, IN is hiring a talented Process Operations Technician for the night shift (6:00pm - 6:00am), 4 on 4 off. The role focuses on operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment, following SOPs, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

You will support startup/shutdowns, monitor plant parameters, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams while collecting data and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Strong aptitude for chemistry, biology, environmental science or related field.
• Two or more years of experience in process operations, preferably in fertilizer, chemical manufacturing, wastewater treatment or similar industrial setting.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (PIDs).
• Must have effective verbal, reading, and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment according to SOPs.
• Follow health, environmental and safety regulations and protocols.
• Oversee cold startup and return to operating status after shutdowns or outages.
• Monitor process parameters and adjust to maintain optimal conditions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and efficiency.
• Record results and contribute to regulatory and contractual reports.
