Job summary

Sedron Technologies, LLC in Fair Oaks, Indiana, is hiring a Process Operations Technician for a rotating night shift (6:00pm – 6:00am, 3 on/4 off, 4 on/3 off). You will operate and monitor chemical processing equipment, follow SOPs and safety regulations, and assist in startup/shutdown procedures while maintaining records and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in process operations, preferably in fertilizer, chemical manufacturing, wastewater treatment or similar industrial setting
• Minimum requirement is a high school diploma or GED
• Must have effective verbal, reading, and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment according to SOPs
• Follow health, environmental and safety regulations and protocols
• Oversee cold startup of plant equipment and return to operating status after shutdowns
• Monitor process parameters and adjust to maintain optimal conditions
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and supervisors
• Collect samples and perform plant control and/or lab tests
• Conduct routine laboratory tests to ensure quality and compliance
• Enter, maintain and extract information from CMMS
