Job summary

RRD is seeking a Press Assistant in Wisconsin (Cudahy) for a night shift, 10 PM to 6 AM, Monday through Friday with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $17.00–$19.00 per hour plus a $3.00 per hour shift differential.

You will prepare presses, inspect ink and paper systems, manage paper inventory, monitor run progress, and assist with maintenance and make-readies while adhering to safety and ISO quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a printing environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the press for a run by verifying job specs and setting up the press accordingly.
• Inspects fountain solution, inking systems, rolls of paper and related mechanisms.
• Maintains proper inventory of paper and records usage/spoilage.
• Ensures roll of paper is properly unwrapped, mounted and ready to splice.
• Monitors paper flow during run and prepares new rolls as needed.
• Supports maintenance with troubleshooting and repairs on presses.
• May assist with make-readies and color adjustments as required.
• Follows safety policies and ISO Quality Manual requirements.
