Job summary

Triumph Group, located in Michigan, seeks a Quality Inspector for the night shift to perform ultra-high precision gear inspections using Klingelnberg P40/P65/P100 systems. You will program, set up, and run metrology processes to ensure GD&T conformance on complex gears and tools.

Proficiency with Klingelnberg software, blueprints, and MS Office is expected, with 1–3 years aerospace or defense QA experience preferred. 2nd shift premium applies.

Qualifications

• High School or technical diploma required; an Associates degree is a plus.
• Proven Klingelnberg software competency for evaluation & calibration.
• Practical experience with high-accuracy Klingelnberg P-series measuring beds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and run Klingelnberg P40/P65/P100 measuring runs.
• Program and use Klingelnberg software to evaluate tooth geometry & GD&T.
• Inspect multiple gear types in a single clamp (gears, splines, hob cutters).
• Interpret charts to adjust equipment settings and support closed-loop data exchange.
• Read blueprints and apply GD&T to verify datums, form, and position.
• Other duties as assigned.
