Job summary

Triumph Group in Michigan seeks a Quality Inspector (GMM Gear) for the night shift to perform ultra-high precision metrology on gears. You will set up, program, and operate Klingelnberg P40/P65/P100 centers, using Klingelnberg software to verify tooth profiles and GD&T on complex gears.

You will read blueprints, translate measurements into process improvements, and support closed-loop data exchange between inspection and CNC gear equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical training; associates preferred.
• Experience with Klingelnberg evaluation software.
• 1–3 years gear inspection in aerospace/defense sectors.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Operate Klingelnberg CNC centers (P40/P65/P100) for gear inspection.
• Program and use Klingelnberg software to evaluate tooth geometry.
• Interpret measurement charts and suggest corrections for manufacturing.
• Collaborate on closed-loop data exchange with CNC gear equipment.
• Read blueprints and verify datums and tolerances per specs.
