Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Tyler, TX is hiring for an assembly line role. Primarily responsible for removing parts/pieces from a whole bird on the cone line, with one or two steps. Must wear PPE and work in compliance with company policies and animal welfare guidelines.

Shift hours are 4:30 PM–1:00 AM with a pay rate of $20.10 per hour. Benefits available day one and on-the-job training are provided. Responsibilities include knife work to debone carcasses, follow directions, and perform additional

Qualifications

• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs.
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC).
• Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Use a knife or scissors to cut and debone chicken carcass as it moves down a line in front of them.
• Follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
