Job summary

Mountaire Farms is seeking a Night Shift supervisor to ensure seamless department operations, aligning procedures, people, and resources to meet quality, efficiency, and safety goals. The role focuses on staffing, SOP adherence, and meeting key metrics in a fast-paced poultry production environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a Bachelor's in Agriculture, Operations, or Business and 3+ years of supervisory experience in poultry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Agriculture, Operations Management and/or Business.
• 3+ years supervisory experience; poultry experience preferred.
• HACCP knowledge and experience.
• USDA sanitation and pre-operations guidelines knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders are fulfilled with correct staffing daily and follow SOPs and GMPs.
• Address defects and improvements while adhering to product quality and packaging specs, and food safety regulations.
• Meet department metrics (BMPH, Cost/lb, PPMH, A Grade %) and manage time-off requests via Kronos/Oracle HCM.
• Follow HR and Safety policies, complete safety training and required certifications.
