Job summary

Golden State Foods in Conyers, GA is seeking a Forklift Operator to support warehouse, yard, and production material movement. You’ll operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, read batch pick sheets and bills of lading, and assist with shipping and receiving.

This full-time, 2nd shift role offers pay of $24.59 per hour, indoor/outdoor work with variable weather exposure. PPE is required and a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy is expected.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience on stand-up and/or sit-down forklifts; certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors.
• Ability to read shipping documents and safety instructions.
• Strong focus on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials.
• Read batch pick sheets and bills of lading.
• Load/unload trucks and railcars.
• Connect/disconnect railcars and tankers.
• Support recycling and yard organization.
• Maintain FIFO and inventory documentation.
• Clean spills and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
