Job summary

Hartford Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to provide holistic, high-quality nursing care on a designated unit. You will apply the nursing process within our Professional Practice framework and work under the supervision of the Unit Manager.

Required: Connecticut RN license and ASN. BSN preferred; BLS certification before hire; 1 year nursing experience with maternity or women's health experience preferred. The hospital offers a supportive team and excellent career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN license is required.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required prior to hire.
• Nursing experience in Maternal/Newborn or Women's Health is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience; maternity/postoperative care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, quality nursing care for patients and families.
• Apply the nursing process within the organization's Professional Practice framework.
• Act as clinically competent and supervise/delegate as appropriate.
• Report to the Unit Manager and collaborate with the care team.
