Qualifications

• Current IL nursing license is required.
• NLN-accredited nursing program is preferred.
• BSN strongly preferred for this postpartum nursing role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Assess patients and collect health data from patient and family.
• Communicate care plans and data with physicians and team.
• Provide patient education tailored to learning needs and culture.
• Support colleagues and participate in professional development.
• Assist where needed with injections, IV management, and oxygen therapy.
• Participate in performance improvement and nursing research.
