Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified as a Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing and scoring.
• Supervise Polysomnographic Technicians and Trainees.
• Complete and verify all documentation (questionnaires, notes).
• Explain procedures and orient patients to the sleep center.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment for testing and ensure proper functioning.
• Apply electrodes and sensors per standards and adjust as needed.
• Perform PAP mask fittings and titration studies.
• Document observations and generate accurate reports.
• Ensure safety and infection control compliance.
