Job summary

Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Night Shift Polysom Tech (PSG) to perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing, data analysis, and therapeutic interventions under supervision.

You will calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, fit PAP masks, and assist with scoring sleep/wake stages and clinical events per AASM standards, contributing to patient safety and high-quality readings.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a polysomnography program of at least one year.
• Minimum six months of experience as a Polysomnographic Trainee with proficiency in required competencies.
• Hold CPSGT or RPSGT credentials; BLS-CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnographic data acquisition and monitor study-tracing quality.
• Implement patient safety interventions including PAP therapy and oxygen delivery.
• Verify data integrity and complete data collection procedures.
• Assist with scoring sleep stages and clinical events per AASM standards.
• Assist in generating accurate sleep study reports.
• Perform routine equipment care and HSAT device cleaning/disinfection.
• Maintain licensure/certification and comply with HIPAA and safety policies.
