Job summary

Mayo Clinic Sleep Medicine is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and patient education services in support of sleep disorder evaluation and treatment. Under supervision, you will perform in-lab and home sleep testing, titrate therapies, analyze studies, and mentor trainees within the Sleep Disorders Center.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree, with an Associate of Applied Science or Associate Degree in Neurophysiology preferred.
• Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) within 2 years of eligibility date for some employees.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct polysomnography and home sleep apnea testing (HSAT).
• Score and analyze sleep studies (respiratory events, arousals, sleep staging).
• Initiate and titrate CPAP, BiPAP, oxygen, and sleep devices per physician orders.
