Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. in Dickson, TN is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform complex electrical duties and maintain PLCs in a manufacturing environment.

You will install, troubleshoot, and service electrical systems and equipment, using blueprints and process knowledge to keep production lines running safely and efficiently. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of maintenance experience, 2+ years in industrial electrical work, and basic PC skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of electrical code.
• Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.
• 4+ years industrial maintenance experience and 2 years industrial electrical experience; formal PLC training preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs using handheld device or laptop.
• Design and redesign program and software (PLCs, operator panels, etc).
• Install, maintain or repair equipment for electrical energy generation and distribution in a manufacturing environment.
• Read blueprints and diagrams to locate and diagnose electrical issues.
• Lead and complete projects, improving processes and reducing costs.
