Job summary

Printpack is seeking an Electronics Controls Technician for the Grand Prairie, TX facility. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic equipment, focusing on PLCs, HMIs, and drive systems to ensure peak production and safe operations.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in electronics maintenance, with an electronics technology background or electrical trades apprenticeship. The role supports continuous improvement, with a 3/2 night shift schedule.”

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience as Electronics Technician
• Electronics Technology degree preferred
• Apprentice completion in electrical trades preferred

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, and industrial control systems
• Perform calibration, alignment, and preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability
• Modify and program PLCs and ladder logic; back up and document systems
• Assist in developing training for maintenance staff and ensure safety procedures are followed
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to implement system upgrades and improvements
