Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Machine Operator I for Prattville, AL. The role is a NIGHT SHIFT position operating 6:48pm–7:00am on a 2/2/3 schedule, every other weekend, and requires forklift operation. Weekly pay starts at $19.60 per hour with an additional $1.00 shift differential for night shifts.

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform mold, insert and color changes on the line and basic processing to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Assist in mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and document activities promptly.
• Coordinate with shift supervision to meet line objectives and communicate processing information to incoming staff.
